You need to know:
- Resumes are maintained in three separate databases:
-- Commercial and General Industry
-- Defense & Intelligence, Security Clearance Required
-- Archive/Reserve
- Commercial and General Industry
This database is comprised of professionals in commercial and general industry, plus government at municipal and state level. Access to your resume is provided only to HR and recruiting professionals. Please report any potential misuse of your resume, such as receiving marketing for anything other than to discuss employment.
There are no restrictions on the nationality of HR or recruiter with access to this database.
- Defense & Intelligence, Security Clearance Required
Resumes within database generally contain professionals with active federal security clearances; any federal security clearance used within the last 24 months is considered active.
Your resume will reside on IntelligenceCareers.com AKA USADefenseIndustryJobs.com. Access to this database is strictly controlled. All HR and recruiting professionals have been vetted as being eligible for defense contracts, and/or being within the DoD Central Contractor Database. All access recipients also agree to limit resume database access to U.S. citizen staff members.
- Archive/Reserve
Resumes not updated at least every 90 days are usually moved to our Archive. HR and recruiters do not want to view old resumes -- and most consider any resume older than 30-45 days as being "old".
It is very easy to update your resume: just login to your resume and select the Update/Refresh button. Even if you have no change to make please update your resume every few months.
We may also delete your resume. If an email to the email address is returned as "undeliverable" then we will check to see if you have an alternative email. If not then we will delete your resume.
